Lists - Best Board Games

I love board games and game nights. You might call it nerdy, but instead of going out on a Saturday night, I would much rather gather ‘round the table with good friends, bad for us snacks, and a few good games.

Scrabble The classic game of creating words from a bunch of random tiles is…well…classic

Trivial Pursuit A great game for those who have a mind for general trivia. The best thing is that there are so many genres including Genus, ‘80s, and ‘90s

Monopoly This is another classic that has competitors relying strategy and shrewdness. Like Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly comes in many forms, Star Trek, The Simpsons, Here and Now, and Anti-Monopoly

Scattergories The great thing about this game is that it forces people to be creative and no matter how many times you play, the combinations seem to be endless

Apples to Apples This is a great game of comparisons that is made even better if you’re playing with friends who have a lot of inside jokes

Taboo Just like charades but without the movement, also great if you’ve got inside jokes with your teammates

Aggravation Like Sorry meets Marbles
